As discussed with you we are interested in placing students from your college for our apprenticeship program in Mech, Ele, Chem & Environement branches.

We have vacancy of 5 fresh apprentice engineers in our detergents factory based at Silvassa.

The period of apprenticeship will be one year and the students will be eligible for stipend of Rs.9000 per month.

The candidates who complete apprenticeship may also apply for suitable opening with us in future.

Weatherford started manufacturing facility towards end of 2003 in Vadodara. Initially
manufacturing set up was for Gas Lift Valves only, later on CHC products were added with
acquisition of an existing facility near Vadodara. Today the plant has become global supplier
of Gas Lift Valves as well as Commodity Packers & Components for Weatherford. Product
range includes – Commodity Packers (Mechanical & Hydraulic), Flow Control Components,
Tubing Anchor, Gas Lift Valve, Orifice Valve, Dummy Valves, Kick over Tools, Chemical
Injection Valves, and Latches etc. The plant has in-house CNC turning Centers, Vertical
Milling Centers, Brazing machine, testing & measuring instruments. Plant has developed
dedicated vendor base in & around Vadodara and adding capacity through outsourcing.
Outsourcing has ensured that cost of product is 20~30% less than other Weatherford’s
manufacturing facilities. The plant has become popular sourcing destination on account of
timely delivery of quality product at competitive cost. More than 50% of Weatherford’s
global supplies of Gas Lift Valves are manufactured in Vadodara. GLV product line is also
certified by API with API 11V1, API Q1, ISO 9001:2000, TS/ISO 29000. The plant
witnessed fast track implementation of all modules of JD Edward in Aug 2007. Present team
strength of around 95 employees will achieve revenue of USD 7 million this year.
