ELECTRICAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (ERDA) is a professionally managed not-for- profit premier organization serving the electrical equipment manufacturing industries and utilities for over 36 years in the areas of test, evaluation, certification, consultancy and R&D related to electrical products and systems.  ERDA has over 300 employees and is financially self reliant. It  has sophisticated  laboratories at its huge Vadodara complex, is one of the main evaluation and R&D centers in India , and is looking for expansion to be a  global  organisation with commensurate growth plans.

We are pleased to inform you that for manning positions in various testing, evaluation and research laboratories situated at their Vadodara and Savli complexes, ERDA is looking for bright Electrical Engineering Graduates with proven academic records for appointment as Diploma Electrical Trainees. ERDA would like to visit your campus for selection of such students who will be completing their Degree education before June/ July 2011. Kindly let us know the process we need to adopt for enabling ERDA conduct placement interviews at your campus, at the earliest opportunity.

We shall appreciate if list of such students is forwarded to us as soon as possible. The selection process will cover a pre-placement presentation about ERDA and personal interviews of students who meet with the selection criteria of min 60% till last semester.  Candidates selected shall be on training for a period of one year during which they shall receive a stipend of Rs 8,000 per month. Upon successful completion of training the candidates shall be absorbed in appropriate pay bands.
