Eligibility criteria:
SSC (10th grade) + Diploma with 60% and above throughout with NO BACKLOGS
Also SSC (10th grade) + HSC (12th Grade) + Diploma with 60% and above throughout
NO BACKLOGS
Job Title:
Diploma Engineer Trainees (DETs)
Selection Procedure:
Selection Procedure is mainly divided into two phases Viz. Written Examination on first
day and Personal Interview on second day for shortlisted candidates.
Training and Job Location and Salary Package details:
Training and Job Location: Anywhere in India
Stipend: Rs. 2.00 lakhs Per Annum
Salary: On Confirmation Package is Rs. 3.00 lakhs Per Annum
The training duration for the DETs would be one year. Training is primarily through
learning on-the-job, with additional focus on functional learnings through rotational
assignments. Formal classroom training is also imparted at regular intervals. All
trainees would be required to undergo training at Thermax sites or on the Shop Floor or
in Service for a period of 6 to 10 months. On satisfactory completion of training they will
be absorbed as regular employees. Placement of a trainee in any particular function is
made after a careful review of his/ her academic background, organizational
requirement and interview panel observations.
